Pest control ads tend to be an ‘icky’ subject; images of insects & rodents are not particularly attractive. We softened it with cartoon type graphics while also appealing to the wider benefits of pest control, without having to show the offending creatures in every case. Family, home and goodwill messages are paired with informative posts, to create a continued holistic flow of messaging that engages Pestex’s existing customers (for repeat business) while attracting new clients. The result has been a major uptake in Pestex’s social media reach and interaction, matched by their growth across Trinidad & Tobago.
